Mount Moriah live at Boot & Saddle Philadelphia, 3/12/16

In a year that has already proven tremendous for new music, the new album How to Dance by North Carolina’s Mount Moriah has been a stand-out among stand-outs. So the opportunity to catch them live when they came to Boot & Saddle in Philadelphia on 3/12 was too great to pass up. There is one thing that quickly becomes evident right from the start of their set: lead singer Heather McEntire is not only one of the most exciting and enthralling frontwomen in all of rock right now, but she is easily one the best, most entertaining singers I’ve had the opportunity to catch live! If they make it to your neck of the woods, I would make it a point to do everything in your power to check them out!
